WHAT WE DO HERE AT AAPLE DENTAL....
For our patients whose natural teeth have outlived their usefulness and have to transition into dentures.
We treat people who are in need of their initial dentures and provide all the extractions & surgical procedures needed to transition to dentures.
We also handle the follow-up dentures for the Immediate/Surgical Denture as well as replacement dentures for people's currently worn out or ill-fitting dentues.
We also place Dental Implants for use to stabilize dentures as explained in the section on "Implants, below."
We have our own, "in-office" laboratory so our Dentists can handle your dentures "hands-on" as opposed to sending out to a Commercial Laboratory.
This brings a more favorable cost and provides an overall better individualized denture product.
A dental implant is, simply stating it, a surgical titanium screw that is placed in the jawbone in the area of a missing tooth. It actually performs the same function as a tooth root and, after a suitable time for healing, provides a base for attaching anywhere from a single tooth to a complete arch of teeth.
Dental Implants are also used to retain loose and non-stable dentures.
Many patients with either partially missing teeth or fully edentulous (without teeth) experience loose or ill-fitting partial dentures or compolete dentures.
Often the reason for the looseness and lack of stability & retention is not poor fit, but that the ridges/arches (the structures that support and retain the dentures or partial denture) are inadequate to give the kind of retention and stability that the patient needs to effectively support the denture for comfort and ease of speaking and for chewing function.
In these cases, simply making another prosthesis (denture or partial denture), will not provide the additional stability and retention that the patient needs.
In these cases, the Implant Retained/Stabilized Denture is your solution. Ask us - it is simpler and less painful than you would expect !!!
While replacing individuial or multiple teeth with Implants is the recommended treatment, using Implants is not always feasible, so we also provide removable dental prostheses for patients with one or more, but not all, missing teeth in an arch. These services are generally referred to as “Partial” Dentures as opposed to “Complete” Dentures for patients who are totally edentulous (without teeth) in either or both arches. As partially edentulous patients also require quality and fast removable services, these processes are also provided by Coastal Dental Services. Just as with complete dentures, there are individual variables in partial denture cases and fees based on individual circumstances will be quoted for these services.
We also utilize Dental Implants to assist in the retention and stabilization of partial dentures
Oral Surgery for Immediate Dentures and Implants is one of the most important and frequent services we provide for our patients. Simply, immediate dentures are the initial dentures that are placed “immediately” upon completion of the dental surgical process to remove the teeth from the jaws – this denture is also referred to as the “Surgical Denture”.
In our offices we both construct the surgical dentures and perform all the pre-prosthetic dental surgical procedures required to remove the remaining natural teeth, roots, infections, and to perform the necessary ridge surgery (alveoplasty) to adjust the bone & gums of the denture support tissue areas for patients requiring immediate dentures.
Providing all the services for the Surgical Denture in one office eliminates the need for multiple offices and an outside lab bill resulting in cost reduction for our patients -- and you will have only one office to go to for your follow-up procedures.
We place Implants for both individual tooth replacement and for Implant Retained Dentures.
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SERVING YOU SOON.
